Several thousand youth and young adults across the U.S. (and many more in 20+ other countries) have benefited from theYouth as Facilitative Leaders and Project Based Learning programs.
In these unique trainings' young people and their supportive adults acquire practical skills for facilitation that focus on group participation and collaborative decision-making. We emphasize focusing the collective wisdom of the group to address real life challenges. Young people utilize 3 methods and a variety of tools & techniques to produce authentic solutions that can lead to considerable results and significant change.
Courtney is an enthusiastic and compelling Participatory Strategic Planning Facilitator who has extensive experience in grassroots organizing, participatory strategic thinking, and long term planning with multi-stakeholder involvement.
She is a Certified Facilitator and Master Trainer of Technology of Participation(ToP) Methodologies and Processes.
Courtney currently trains and designs participatory processes for a range of community, health and diversified stakeholder groups to implement integrated plans that address systems change and build the capacity of targeted participants.

Courtney Lonergan is an Applied Cultural Anthropologist and Professional Facilitator of Participatory Processes. She has launched several grassroots movements and studies urban development and change. In her spare time she teaches 300 level Anthropology classes at ASU and engages her students in local & global projects and initiatives.
